Introduction to Food Gardening - Pretoria

Kouga Urban Harvest is running workshops in Pretoria on creating and maintaining organic food gardens. The aim of the course is to prepare you to create your own self sufficient food garden and we will cover everything from planning the garden to harvesting. On the course we will cover the following topics:
The course will be a combination of theory and practice, with all of the topics being illustrated in a already existing vegetable garden. Persons who will benefit are those who grow their own vegetables or would like to start, persons who maintain community food garden projects or would like to start one, gardeners and small-scale farmers. Cost: R950 and R800 for pensioners and participants' gardeners All lessons will be in English as well as Afrikaans. Spaces are limited and booking is essential.
