urban sprout is currently seeking a new intern.

Do you get up in the morning seeking to make a positive impact to the world around you? Do you recycle, save electricity, grow your own food, read labels, and/or calculate your carbon footprint? Are you passionate about "green" and environmental issues?

Do you have ability with the written word, are looking to build your work portfolio and do some good in the world? We are offering a minimum three month internship at urban sprout where you will get to put your knowledge to the test and gain new skills.

This is a multi functional role using and developing your writing, research, website content management and social media skills.

Candidates should preferably have a degree/diploma in journalism, media studies or environmental science and be looking for practical training and experience in the environmental and online publishing fields.

The internship is part-time, and you will need to get to and from our office in Plumstead, Cape Town. There will be a small stipend to cover your travel expenses.
