The BEN 10th Year Anniversary Family Fun Ride

The Bicycling Empowerment Network (BEN) is proud to announce our 10th Year Anniversary Family Fun-Ride on Sunday the 5th of February, 2012. BEN has been an active NGO providing safe cycling education and advocacy throughout the Western Cape and beyond. BEN believes that the bicycle is a large part of the solution to mobility and poverty alleviation.

BEN will be marking its 10 year anniversary with a Family Fun Ride on:

When: Sunday the 5th of February, 2012 meeting at 9:30am for a 10am start
Where: BEN Office. 30 Eastlake Drive, Marina da Gama – look for the sign!
Details: We will meet for the 10am start and take a leisurely ride around Marina da Gama and Muizenberg, meeting back at the BEN office. Lunch will be available for sale at Elaine’s Upper Crust and parking is freely available around the complex.

Cyclists of all skill levels, along with family and friends, are encouraged to join the ride. This is not a race, but rather an opportunity to cycle through the BEN neighborhoods of Marina da Gama and Muizenberg, take in some sun, and have some fun in this wonderful community.
