Fringe Handmade Market
Sat, 2012-02-04 10:00 - 15:00
Now in its second incarnation, The Fringe, Cape Town’s design and innovation district, will host their exclusive Fringe Handmade Market in Harrington Street on Saturday, February 4, 2012, with a wide variety of stands dedicated to products by local creatives. The Fringe Handmade, held for the first time on December 3, 2011 was a huge success amongst locals and visitors alike. Once again, the market will showcase fresh designs from innovative talents, and is a joint initiative between The Fringe coordinating team, the Cape Craft and Design Institute (CCDI), the Cape Town Fashion Council (CTFC), Woodheads and Fledge Creative Catalyst. This quintessentially Cape Town market is the perfect way to experience the Mother City’s creative network while shopping for edgy locally-produced items such as pottery, fashion, jewellery, homeware, accessories and more. The Fringe Handmade Market welcomes children and pets. Harrington Square (Corner of Harrington and Caledon Streets)
